In your Xmen poll... You can pick 3 options. Thus less than 15 people voted.

Well as some only make 1/2 choices, I will agree about 15 people voted. Plus there were additional comments.

But anyway, I am fine with getting 15 poll results in the first 2 days as that gives a good summary of opinions > which is what I am looking for in my polls.

Basically I agree with what nebs and murato said in "the site" the polls aren't really a problem just have less and don't bump them 24/7

and which would you consider too general or too many ( as you have never answered the question before.

and why do these have little purpose but your what 5 Disney vs Pixar threads for example???????

Sorry John, Sounds like more BS.

**********************************

Here are examples of my threads over the last month.
* Rank the X-Men Movies/What is 2nd BEST X-MEN Movie Poll.
* Favorite 2 Movies of Summer 2009 are.........
* Rank or list the Oct to Dec Movies interest you the most?

Rather than try to specify which I thought are unnecessary, I went ahead an listed the ones that I actually think contribute anything, since there are considerably fewer of those. IMHO these threads make since, the rest that you listed are pointless.
*I ignored tv forum because I don't go there.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

So John

Didn't you once say this is an OK thread to have. And do you object to the crowd report and the RT thread. Or the mothly anticipation threads.
* Movies for 5/8/09. Star Trek at 24/24 & 8.0 on RT(on 5/5/09)

What is wrong with this. As can't we talk about movie characters.
* John Connor vs James T Kirk vs The Transformers vs Megan Fox Why is this diff than the ranking thread you OKed.
* What are the 5 BEST STAR TREK PRODUCTS EVER!!!!

Can't we talk about movie characters at all.
* Who are your Favorite X-Men characters? > Wolverine so far

Why can't we talk aboiut this. So what do you want to talk about.
* Actor/Actress you most looking forward to seeing in 2009 movie

He would erase the useful poll. I was all set to vote "no"

It was 5-2 in favor of NO. But then he erased it.

Surely to save his ass.

Sure munk.

Anyway the post comments can be looked at. And as it has been shown that enough look at some and not others.

And as I said in the beg. I knew that some would be no. But those can certainly ignore my few threads. And anyway. There are others who have started more than me.

Grill this fight between you and me isn't worth doing once let alone mutliple times.
I don't really care about this enough to keep fighting over it. I think you make too many threads and back up the ones that I care about, but it's not a huge fucking deal, if you care that much, keep doing what your doing.

1) Stop replying multiple times to threads when there is no discussion, let others do the replying.
2) Stop replying multiple times when someone doesn't directly answer your question.
2) Stop posting the results of the polls in threads.
3) Stop changing the polls after a day.

* OK, won't do multiple but just as any other thread starter, everyone is welcome to join the discussion.

2) Stop replying multiple times when someone doesn't directly answer your question.
* OK, won't do this multiple times.

2) Stop posting the results of the polls in threads.
* I don't see the problem with this as just marking the results after enough people have voted but I will stop it. Except when publishing final poll results when switching to a new poll.

3) Stop changing the polls after a day.
* Rarely happens! Usually only when a poll winner was set during the first day.

Comments above. Thanks for the suggestions.

A good compromise solution might be that Grill could be still be permitted to make an unlimited number of polls - - but the forum software could be set-up to make them invisible to the rest of us here at the KJ...

wow, bored Bradley, no stupid reviews to write. cause except for someone with no life who has to read every thread who the hell cares as my threads are very easy to skip/ignore.

and with Eagle's suggestions, my threads will only stay up on top if others are posting in them.

Anyway, just like I didn't go into the 12 threads that Lecter set up in an hour the other day cause I am not interested in what might happen with future films or the 3 in 3 minutes that JM set up in the Box Office forum cause I am not interested in the BO guesses - only actuals.

Etc, etc, etc......

PS. Bradley and again it is no surprise that one who is yelling about me, does the same things that I got yelled at for.

* I see how you re-printed poll results in your thread.
* I see how you made 6 out of 20 posts in your ST thread.
* I see how you changed the poll instead of starting a new poll in a new thread.
* and I see that you have a poll rather than just letting everyone read the comments - glad you at least see the value of the poll!!!!!!!!

See, the difference with my threads is that I don't post 10+ posts in each of my news threads usually and they all deal with different films/projects.

Well unfortunately a lot of times I have to defend myself againist something not related to the thread topic or which has already been addressed. But since the person has missed it. It needs to be repeated I guess.

And then I also guess. There is no problem posting 10 threads in a row under some instances. Well lucky for me I never do more than 2 at a time.

Lecter's thread was actually movie news report. Yours is a random poll thats either too general, vague or too specific to a point theres no audience for it

Lecter doesnt constantly bump his threads up. Your thread has comments from you that occupies half the entire discussion like Eagle said.

Lecter doesnt constantly modify the title of his thread. You consistently modify the thread title maybe because there wasnt really an audience for the particular thread

Old news and some incorrect facts. But anyway as I just got new comments from Eagle. How about let's see how it goes. I would think that a ADM could or would do that before making comments.

And fyi. Some of my present threads are doing fine without any help from me.

Are you taking Eagle's words into advisement? It seems as though you are still bumping your threads quite a bit as illustrated by that davinci code thread you created.

Quote a bit? Sorry but you are wrong was just 1 post to say what I am seeing!

and ps if you are adm'ing, can you look into someone who just tried to start a fight with me and then bumped a 4 year old thread with jiberish or non thread talk into the movie section.
