well right now more people dislike it than like it.
if the poll swings, the feature will go back on. I myself like it.

Agreed. I don't understand how it can be a distraction, as some users have said. If it were blinking neon, causing your speakers to explode at random moments, then, yes, I guess that could be a distraction.

You're probably not a clicker. I click at everything. I don't know why I do it but I just do. The feature is very annoying for me and many others.

Thank you for turning it off, Eagle.  I have to click on a page in order to use the scroll wheel, so it's always taking me where I don't want to go. #-o I'm too lazy to mouse over to something that's not a cell.
I wouldn't call this feature "advanced," btw. I'ts like saying that changing the background to blue is advanced.
