Now that's something I agree with. BOM's board is soooo last decade. It's a relic. I brought that up once, but baumer likes the all text format better. The lack of creative options holds me back from posting there like I would if it had the features of this board. Sean needs to upgrade.

That's the clique awards, which don't hold much credibility, and I said I DIDN'T needed to be thanked, I just thought it was in poor taste to villianize me for the efforts. Anybody would have felt the same.

How much from each forum is spam posting and meaningless babble posting? Lots of KJ review threads seemed to have that going on, if I recall.

Not that much babbling actually. Especially if you considering the HUGE gaps, even if you take out all the "babbling" there's more here. Also some of this "babbling" is actual film discussion, believe it or not.

Look at who you are mentioning. Gold Master, AntiChrist, Fett, these were not your upstanding nice guys. I got along with most of the people that were nice, and most who weren't.

There were the LOTR loonies that I had issues with, and lots of heated battles between Matrix fanboys and Hulk bashers. Me and loyal once got into a very heated argument that led to our animosity in the early days of this forum. The fanboy wars led to my association with BKB, and the formation of the unholy trinity with him and baumer, with lots of arguing, but it wasn't the personal attacks to my character like I endured here, it was all in fun, and didn't affect my popularity or friendships with people, even though many of them were on the opposite side.

I can't speak for loyal, but I get the impression that loyal is a do-er. From what he has said, this site wasn't going the direction he wanted, so he did something about it and made his own site and is doing what makes him happy. I'll cut off my left nut if 5 years from now loyal is hanging out here just stirring up problems and laughing at people because he is upset that he wasn't appreciated enough here.

Which is my point for you... you've got so many ideas on how to run a site, or how one should be run, but you've done very little about it. Instead your wasting your time here trying to be a troll. That's completely beneath you, IMO. Trolling is easy... 12 year old boys do it. That's why I could never see loyal doing it. I just can't for the life of me figure out why you've taken to it, and why you aren't more pro-active in implementing your plan(s).

Thanks for those stats Lecter... as I said, it's not even remotely close between the two. In just about every measurable stat, KJ is kicking BOM's tail, and we've seen no data to suggest otherwise.

No, loyal plans on creating a new place and killing this forum with it. I'm sure he'll laugh about it if it happens. Loyal has done exactly the same thing to people at times. I'm sure he'd be the first to admit it. If you haven't noticed, loyal lost his star around here. He used to be king. I know all too well what that feels like, as I was once king at BOM. That creates a desire within to shove it up collective asses. I can't emplain why.

I'd say that speaks to harsh feelings, regardless of if he wants to publicize it. He, like many others, don't like what these forums have become. Like I said, the poll speaks to that, not just me.

And this thread is not trolling. I'd admit it if it was. I think the subject needed to be brought to the table, because quite a few people felt exactly like me. You obviously don't, and that's okay, too.

Unless I don't understand numbers, the poll seems to be nearly 2:1 in favor against your opinion.

Also, all the numbers between BOM and KJ that we presented show that KJ would have to lose about 50% (or more) of its active posts to just be even with BOM. I really think you posted this thread at the wrong site.
