Seems like decent budget for a direct to D+ and the director has some credibility (he made the Green Knight, not that I've seen it). That's Jude Law as Hook, I'll save you the time of imdb-ing it. |

I think there was more simple ways to do a babyface Kraken vs heel Mermaid movie than this, not everything has to be this big destiny adventure thing, Pixar would have just set it at underwater high school and had some mini adventure that pays homage to live action teenage movies. |

Dreamworks should open that on the same day as Little Mermaid.  I am actually disappointed that they went back to their old style of "cheaper Pixar" looking animation rather than the newer, boldly shaded and somewhat stop-motiony style of Puss In Boots: The Last Wish and The Bad Guys. |

Based on previous rumor this definitely gives me the vibe this trailer only contains the first part of the movie and that Barbie and Ken end up in the real world. |

It hurts how much confidence they lack in this being a success in its own right. Three-quarters of the trailer focuses on past Illumination movies. But I have this in round four of my draft so I still think it might do over $100 million based on Illumination alone. #FingersCrossed #TouchWood |
