Weirdly pretentious trailer for a Barbie movie. I don't get it. Looks bad. They need to pick up their game and deliver a Barbie experience instead of being all 2022 and trying to subvert expectations at every chance.

Looks like a big movie with stakes at the very least, but Kang is gonna carry this movie, not the Ant-Man cast as unfortunately the last 2 movies proved they have limited appeal.

Trying to claim $41.5 million is a hit because of its ROI :funny: and you even had to go to the worldwide well to boost the numbers :funny: I was responding to Shack's "drafted" comment which is only domestic.

Anyway, none of those films made money because of her. I'll reiterate, she's just not star material. It's abundently clear even this early on in her career. Only three films there were marketed mostly/completely on her "star power", and highest-gross of them is $45 million. Watch out, Jolie! There's a new A-lister in town, lol.

And this is a film about wrestling that came out in the U.S. with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in it and producing it and on every poster and trailer ... and it made less than White Boy Rick. Pugh is a turn off, dude. ;)

I'd say Pugh is unproven one way or the other as a draw. DWD performance was acceptable considering the bad buzz. Nobody knew who she was when Fighting With My Family came out and it did ok.
