It seems there's a trailer out for this too, the poster makes it look like a fun film anyway.

Noticed there's also a Gun Shy from 2000 with Liam Neeson.

LOL. The poster is really generic aside from the hairstyle for Banderas and the title of this thread :funny:

Yeah, but it's not that type of Liam Neeson film. ;)

Actually, I have not seen it, but the VHS cover always gave me the impression that it was more of an Oliver Platt film. It looked good, though. No idea why I never chose it. This is the DVD cover, but you get the idea...

Gun Shy (the Liam Neeson/Sandra Bullock one) is a very odd movie. It is this drugs-and-mafia-and-money film to an extent, but also a romantic comedy...and it heavily involves Neeson's character's gastrointestinal issues. I guess it was maybe intended as a riff on Grosse Pointe Blank's formula. The acting is decent, but it doesn't gel overall.

As for this poster, beyond the hilarious hair, it is interesting to see Banderas in action-hero mode with a guitar case. Blatantly trading on Desperado.

Just watched the trailer. What the fuck has happened to Simon West? It looks utterly shit. I cannot believe this is from the same guy that made Con Air and The Mechanic.

This looks over-the-top, in line with Con Air, but with a lower budget and more comedy touch.

I think we are really giving Simon West too much credit.

Con Air is a classic (Which I hate just cause its so corny and Cage is at his probably most ridiculous mainstream until Wicker Man) Saved by a great cast.
Expendables 2 is the best of the series (But you know Stallone was still in full control of that film)

Everything else is just pure shit. It's like Renny Harlin was too expensive, so they said, how about that West guy. He does every cliche in the book.
