| Post subject: | Which films from series you love do you skip? |
When you are watching a film series you like, are there any films in the series you hate so much you just cannot watch them? I generally do not. Generally if I do not like a film in a series, it is the first or second, and it turns me off watching ANY of them ever again (like Transformers), even if I liked the first. |

Funny, I couldn't think of a good example until I read your Transformers comment. I honestly really enjoyed the first one, maybe even loved it, but I hated the second one so much, I'd probably avoid ever watching the first again. |

I don't love the Star Wars series, but if I would decide to watch the saga, I'd skip Ep. 1 and 2. |

I will revisit Jason Bourne a lot less than the other four, which I love. I mostly ignore the third and, especially, the fourth Alien films. |

Return of the King, Battle of the 5 Armies. Friday the 13th 1, 5, 9, X, and the reboot Star Trek: TMP, V, Insurrection, Into Darkness Rocky V Rambo III Terminator Salvation The Hunt For Red October, Sum of all Fears, Reboot Lethal Weapon 3 Die Hard 2, A good Day to Die Hard All the Roger Moore Bond films, all but Goldeneye for Brosnan Godfather Part III Matrix Sequels (Still love the first) Men in Black II Mission Impossible II X-men Last Stand and Origins (Though I don't even mind them that much, obviously the ones I barely go back to) Halloween III, VI, Resurrection, and the Zombie films |

Yeah, skipping two out of 3 terminator films makes sense as does the late Die Hard's sadly. |

I would skip Batman Returns, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Terminator: Genisys. The latter I try not to even recognise its existence. I would also skip Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and every Die Hard movie after Die Hard with a Vengeance (not even sure I would watch Die Harder but it's one of those that always dupes me because I feel it's not so bad but I usually end up hating it when it's on). |
