Wait, so people actually like this movie? Is this another Speed Racer where it looks shit by the posters but actually it is awesome? (though I hated Speed Racer but then I saw it years later long after the bandwagon had passed).

And Bruce Cambell, Kurt Russell, Dave Foley, and Kelly Preston. Great cast. I always wanted a sequel to this. They better bring the cast back though.

I don't have encyclopedic knowledge of every film. Some pass me by, and by the look of Sky High, it looks shit.

Trailers weren't good. It was definitely a surprise. Certainly before the Marvel renaissance. But it's a great mix for kids and adults.

Agreed. I thought it looked terrible but saw it on DVD when I watched everything and it was a hugely pleasant surprise.

Also, I hated Speed Racer. I think I only watched like 20 minutes before shutting it off.

Other than a similarity in public disinterest in Sky High and Speed Racer, there is no stylistic similarity at all between the two.
