 Who's the worst leading actor Just out of curiosity. Which actor kept getting roles that you couldn't stand. Who is the worst of the worst? A lot of times it can be comedians just doing their crap, or sometimes it's actually someone who's just made a career at sucking. Does one good movie take you off the list, or does your acting still distract. Luckily no ones mainstream popularity lasted too long, except in a few occurrences.

Re: Who's the worst leading actor Why is McConaughey even on the list?  How out of the loop are you? Dude is on fire. I also dig Keanu Reeves. He is not Daniel Day-Lewis, but at times a shot of Keanu goes down very smoothly, you know? And he is fantastic in My Own Private Idaho and the Matrix trilogy. _________________   1. a more interesting choice for a poll would be: who's the worst leading man among those that are generally considered as oscar caliber actors? i'll go with christian bale. can't get his grotesque performance in "the fighter" out of my head, and he makes no impression whatsoever in his turns that could be considered as "acceptable" or "solid".

Re: Who's the worst leading actor Some of these folks aren't even leading actors like Carrot Top. A few of them are strictly comedians who are in film, not necessarily leading actors.
If I had to choose a real actor in the bunch, I'd pick Arquette or maybe Topher Grace.

Magic Mike showed that like Dazed and Confused, a terrible leading actor can be an amazing supporting actor. The list is all over the place, as it's way too vague an area. I even wanted to put Adrien Brody on the list. I hate him so much, he's ruined every film he's ever been in. I don't care if he has an oscar. I haven't seen Killer Joe or Mud, but I've seen Ghost of Girlfriends past, We Are Marshall, Amistad, A time to Kill, his Kate Hudson films, etc. There is plenty of evidence of him sucking on a regular basis. Even Tom Arnold had a good role. If he finally knows how to act I'll say good for him, it only took 20 years.
And Bio- Dome must never be forgotten.

Re: Who's the worst leading actor Yeah, man, McConaughey on this poll is ridiculpus as shit after the past couple of years. He was Oscar-worthy in Killer Joe, he absolutely steals the film in Magic Mike, he is splendid in Mud and he ahs actually shown early promise in Reign of Fire.

Orlando Bloom is definitely a great pick, I forgot he even existed. Though to be fair POTC, and LOTR were not sold on him. Troy too. But his other films were all kinds of trash.
