 Re: Are the prequels not as hated as some think? I think it really depends on your lens you look through. The OT (especially the first two) is a transcendent experience through and through. The first two prequels aren't. Sith is about on par with Jedi. But I think all three prequels work as disposable popcorn entertainment in the vein of a Jurassic World or a lesser MCU film.

Re: Are the prequels not as hated as some think? Well, the hate is exaggerated thanks to online haters, but they really are also met with disdain in the real world. People do not look on them very fondly. I'd say they're as disliked as the DCCU, maybe.

The potential was there for the PT to be great but GL crashed & burned with the execution.
