CA3 moves to April and SW7 takes summer start. I would agree on those moves, but I wanna see BvS winning the year............................ and I see unlikely Disney moving the star wars spin off film from December 2016 too

Eh, I'm fine with it.
The New Force or Force Unleashed would sound equally iffy.
Disney Toy Line is in full effect. All of the Marvel subtitles have kind of sucked as well so I'm not too surprised.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII thread - GENERIC SUBTITLE ACHIEVED
My point is Disney is in charge of the Subtitles now, not Lucasfilm. I think the subtitle seems very different than the others. Mentioning the Force leads to a lot of merchandising.
Force of the Jedi would of been more in line with the others.

"Awakens" just sounds clunky, especially in relation to The Force. "The Force Lives" sounds better. It makes an equal amount of sense.

Force of the Jedi would of been more in line with the others. Eh it is better than the Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. Only ROTS had a good subtitle of the prequels.

Initial thoughts are that it's not an epic enough sounding subtitle.

It's fine, but Awakens is a little flat. Something like Resurrection of the Force, especially if the movie is about Awakens doesn't seem strong enough.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII thread - GENERIC SUBTITLE ACHIEVED
Its not that bad. Most move subtitles suck anyway.
It is better than Clones and Phantom menace atleast.
And I'm glad there is no RISE, REVENGE, AGE or RETURN in the title.
It kinda harks back to A New Hope in a way. We'll all get used to it and end up typing in TFA on these boards anyway.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII thread - GENERIC SUBTITLE ACHIEVED
Really though, because it's a known brand, the subtitle didn't matter. Because people aren't going to the theater and asking for a ticket to "the force awakens" they're asking for "star wars".

Sure the subtitle doesn't matter, but a good subtitle wouldn't hurt either.

The Force Awakens?
Yeah I guess you watch it for Star Wars and not the subtitle.

I find it worse than any subtitle so far. It's so awkward sounding. Like some fan fiction.
