Finally! The chances of Jar-Jar Binks 3D are that much stronger today.

Can you imagime the outcry among fans once they cast someone as Solo? I mean no one has got a chance to begin with.

The Boba Fett film could be kind of dark, but has huge potential same with a Solo film.

Re: JJ Abrams to Direct Star Wars VII
rumor has it John Noble might be the villain http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/ ... s/?a=73847If true, he would be a great choice. I loved him on Fringe and has a huge connection to Abrams.

Re: "Star Wars" spinoffs officially happening
Forget doing more origin films unless they have nothing to do with any of the Skywalkers or Solo or Vader. Can we move forward please and stop dealing in prequel style films.

Re: JJ Abrams to Direct Star Wars VII
I disagree Nobel is a great actor. Not sure what the villain role will be. For all we know, it could be a secondary villain like some old imperial figure or crime lord.

Re: "Star Wars" spinoffs officially happening
The Fett movie has potential to be very different. It could be a crime drama and bring in the seeder side of the universe and there are plenty of bounty hunters they could bring including Bossk and IG-88. They could also create new ones and we have crime lords like Jabba that could be featured.

Re: "Star Wars" spinoffs officially happening
I feel like we're already getting overloaded with spinoff projects. I don't need to know the collective life stories of every goddamn Star Wars character ever created. Sometimes less is more.

Well if they make the movie him after a target and then show the seedy world of bounty hunters and throw in characters like Bossk, IG-88 and others. I would also imagine Darth Vader could make an appearance.

Hopefully their ship blows up in the first 5 minutes. Let's move on from these old folks and get to new characters for god sakes!

Re: Star Wars Episode VII thread - Harrison Ford is back!
First 5 minutes is kind of extreme. If they kill off Han Solo it should be epic not him going out like a punk. Of course there is another possibility. Solo and Leia could be pushed to the background and just there passing off the torch. I still see Luke as a Yoda type character mentoring the heroes and he might actually make it to Episode 9.

Awesome.
I'm still super psyched, the story can really go anywhere now that we aren't limited to the rise and fall of Anakin.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII thread - Harrison Ford is back!
Mark Hamill makes perfect sense. There is plenty of room for Luke to return as a wise-old badass, in a similar vein to how he was at the beginning of Return of the Jedi.
Harrison Ford? I don't know how we will feel about an old Han Solo as audiences fell in love with his youthful machismo. Now that he is old, it will be far more difficult for Ford to play up that playful spirit the character has had throughout the series. Old grouchy Indy works, old grouchy Solo will not.
Now a cameo would be awesome. Still I'm skeptical.
