Might not be great for my draft, but I appreciate they at least tried to do something other than recreate the first movie. Then again horrors aren't doing that well right now so maybe switching genre to action works.
The Mission Impossible trailers are noticably better from the last time. Paramount clearly got the message as they botched the release of the last film (1 by getting lazy and relying on TGM goodwill and 2 by not giving more space with Barbenheimer and 3 by having Part 1 in the title).
Last film had the trifecta of Oppenheimer + Barbie + Sound of Freedom to drop -64.6% in weekend two off of a subdued OW. With Memorial Weekend should be much better.
It lost 1100 theaters in weekend 3 but after that stablized 5 weekends of drops <41%. So clearly the audience liked it just became a case of bigger movie events happening.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - M3ganator 2
MI films need room to breathe because while they have a following - they can be hurt by excessive competition.
Mi4: GP in December 2011 worked with lack of competition MI5: RN in late July worked with lack of competition MI6: Fallout in late July worked with lack of competition
Late July is fine but with MI7 - opening mid-July between SoF/Indy and then the juggernaut Barbenheimer really killed it.
A Memorial Day weekend will at least take the series back to the Memorial Day weekend slot that served the first two films (and TGM) so well.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Full F4
I like the F4 trailer. Especially with that final money shot.
Not sold on Johnny Storm or Dr Reed casting thus far but not terrible.
The female Silver Surfer was just unnecessary, and the CGI looks worse than the male version in 2007. The rest of the CGI looks relatively good, however.
That said I like the style and vibe they are going for and Kirby and The Thing look great.

Hmm. Not really interested in IKWYDLS. The abbreviation takes longer to type than the full title, lol. I really thought it would appeal and look better. The original cast members showing up, does that make sense? In any case, they aren't young and sexy anymore. On paper I thought this would be much better than what it looks like in the trailer.

Agreed, especially compared to the scream and scream 6 trailers, it’s looks very lame by comparison. Though the same can be said for the first two. I’ll still check it out for the OG cast looks solid, hopefully they aren’t wasted. FPJ is definitely giving off Dewey vibes
