I am all for this remake, there hasn't been a true remake of this book since the 1940s (Vincent Price last played him). I wonder if they play it like the original start off humorous but then go dark.

Re: Johnny Depp as the Invisible Man I'm not feeling good about this. Except for maybe Claude Raines, I don't know that this story ever did really well. I remember the David McCallum series only floundered in the 70's, and the 3D "The Man Who Wasn't There" bombed in the 80's.
I'd rather see Depp in a cracker of a David Lynch film, or a Dario Argento mystery.
Else, playing Sydney Carlton, the lonely ex-pat reporting on The Reign of Terror in Charles Dicken's "A Tale of Two Cities".
I am also not feeling good about that article as I have had a Dracula treatment for some time now.
But I don't work there. It was all a matter of 'family business' that I was put to. So I used the book for scripting practice while in the process of reclaiming my head.
