I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this old gem (Original title: Lola Rennt)... There just aren't enough "alternative reality" movies! (or are there?) Very nicely done, very European - - it's no surprise director Tom Twyker went on to make another fabulous film with Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - - I'm looking forward to see what he makes of The International... |

I've been wanting to catch this for awhile. I walk past it everytime I go into Blockbuster, but there's always something else that catches my eye as well. I'll see it eventually. |

HAHA I love this. First saw it when my pervy European History professor showed it to us one lazy afternoon in 2000. Of course you know he loved the mini "future" timeline sequences - specially the one with the dominatrix. |

i suggest all of you to watch kieslowskis superior "blind chance" - lola rennt is just an uninspired mtv style remix of that film. perhaps tykwer watched oliver stones "natural born killers" too often. |
