They need to nominate Top Gun, Avatar, Elvis and Everything Everywhere if they want to slow down the ratings bleed. Literally no one has watched any of these other movies.

They need to devote an entire 30 minutes of the 3.5 hr podcast to TGM related stuff. Have Cruise talk about the importance of movies for 5 minutes, Lady Gaga perform for 5 minutes, show scenes from the movie for 5 minutes, and maybe even have a cameo from Val? 5 minutes of TGM winning stuff and maybe the last 5 minutes of Kenny playing Danger Zone :funny: . It might seem excessive but the audience will show up the more they feature TGM.

No one will care who wins 2/3 of the awards or remember. But Danger Zone, people will stay till the end!

It will be very sad if Aftersun doesn't get anything. I do think if Tom Cruise doesn't get the fifth slot in Actor it's going to Paul Mescal. I would love to see both of them nominated so I'm king of hoping somehow Bill Nighy is taken out in favor of both of them but I do not see that happening.

I also really want to see a much-deserved nomination for Joseph Kosinski in Director.

Hoping Triangle of Sadness gets more than just Original Screenplay. Dolly De Leon and Picture are possible. I think its just on the outskirts in both categories. Ideally Curtis would miss for Everything Everywhere and Stephanie Hsu would be the sole nomination for the film in Supporting Actress.

Using my predictions All Quiet on the Western Front would lead with 10 nominations.

The Banshees of Inisherin would have 9.

Everything Everywhere All at Once - 8
The Fabelmans - 7
Top Gun: Maverick - 7
Elvis - 7
Babylon - 5
The Whale - 5
TAR - 4
Avatar: The Way of Water - 4

LCD Soundsystem missing on best song would be a crime, but one that seems likely to happen since Netflix isn't pushing White Noise at all.
