Post Re: BAFTA nominations
Best Actress Oscar has also won here the last 8 years, so with no Kidman, Stewart, Colman or Chastain nominated this category is a complete mess. Lady Gags is the only one to hit both Screen Actors guild and this. Is she going to win?

4 movies were nominated for both Best Film BAFTA and DGA: Power of the Dog, Belfast, Licorice Pizza and Dune. Picture is probably down to them.

Actress is so chaotic this year. Gaga is most likely going to win at this point. People said she was the new Madonna but really she is the new Cher.

Lady Gaga winning for that performance would be absolutely ridiculous. It's probably going to happen here but hopefully won't repeat at the Oscars.

Post Re: BAFTA nominations
Winners

Best Film - Power of the Dog
Best British Film - Belfast
Best Director - Campion
Best Actor - Smith
Best Actress - Scanlan (useless category as literally no Oscar nominees)
Best Supporting Actor - Kotsur
Best Supporting Actress - DeBose

CODA wasn't nominated in Picture but it beat Dog in Adapted Screenplay and Supporting Actor

If Dog goes on to BP I feel like it should win one of these acting categories. I feel like it should've been Dunst but it just never happened. In some ways the door is open at least a bit on every acting category in case Oscars go for Dog more than SAG or BAFTA.
