Since Oscar has the Best Animated Feature category, the winner of Annie award has always matched the Oscar winner: Shrek, Spirited Away, and Finding Nemo.

The Incredibles leads the nominations far and away with 16, while Shrek 2 and Shark Tale both have 7. The strong showing of Shark Tale is kind of surprising, and they almost completely snubbed Polar Express, which only gathered 1 nomination.

I am surprised at TPE's omission...and it looks like Ghost in the Shell 2 is still in the oscar race!
