The Naked Gun is an American action comedy film directed by Akiva Schaffer, who co-wrote the script with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. It serves as a legacy sequel to Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994) and is the fourth film in The Naked Gun franchise. The film stars Liam Neeson as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., alongside Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston.
