Re: The Wild Robot
I do not cry in movies. But this movie had me blubbering like a big baby. Such a great emotional telling story of a robot evolving and being a leader/mother of the forest.
Best movie of the year.

Re: The Wild Robot
It started a little slow but about a half hour in I was hooked on the story and characters. Amazing animation and manages to avoid cliches for the most part despite there being many previous animated movies about robots and woodland creatures.

Re: The Wild Robot
Oh yeah. Feelings were felt. Pacing is excellent too as the movie never really stops for anything. Much like Roz, its always focused on whatever the next task is, even as she and us have a hard time letting go of things that happened in previous scenes. Brilliant movie.

Re: The Wild Robot
It made this grown man cry. Reminds me of Iron Giant. Excellent film and one of the best of the last 10 years (animated or otherwise). I only wished it made more $$.

Re: The Wild Robot
Starts a little slow and then I pretty much couldn't stop crying for the last third, maybe more?
