I enjoyed this enough. I think it could have felt a bit more Christmas-y but it was cute for what it was. Ryan Reynolds was so god damn charming here, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer were both fine and had nice chemistry, but neither could sing at all. This is also a full blown, BIG splashy musical and not just a song here or there. Music was passable, I saw it on Monday and don't really remember any of the music.

It is for sure a big crowd pleaser and would have done well in theaters. I think a lot of people will have fun with it this holiday season.
