Ghost![Image](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f2/GhostA.jpg) Quote: Ghost is a 1990 romantic fantasy drama film starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Tony Goldwyn and Whoopi Goldberg, written by Bruce Joel Rubin and directed by Jerry Zucker. I loved Ghost. One of the few movies I've seen where Patrick Swayze was any good. The same goes for Demi Moore. Just great. A

I was a little surprised that Ghost didn't make your top 105. It makes mine. Very good movie! One of the few things Swayze was bearable in. The Outsiders being another. Very touching.

One of the few love stories I love, though the movie much more than just that. Whoopi was fanatastic. Demi Moore was quite good, as was Patrick Swayze.

Aw, I love Ghost. I always catch it when they show it countless times on network TV. Yeah, it's been dated because of the hokey effects (or lack of it, Patrick Swayze has a shadow!) but the story is just terrific. Whoopi Goldberg's scenes in the bank are just hysterical and Swayze and Demi Moore have undeniable chemistry. The score is also very memorable.

One of the best romantic comedies of all time! I really loved this movie. Whoppi Goldberg is spectacular, and really made this movie for me. Her one liners are priceless, especially this one "Molly, you in danger girl." Demi Moore is also really good. The whole story is handled very well, and I thought the whole perception of when you die and go to hell was very frightening. Those shadow monsters scared the shit out of me, and the noises they made was really chilling. I thought the ending was great, and everytime it is on television I always tune in to watch it.

Excellent movie and unfortunately forgotten too quickly. I great mix of everything from comedy to suspense to romance. I thought the acting was a highlight for all involved, and extra perks go to direction/editting for having excellent timing. Not one scene was either too long of two short. Great pacing throughout and a fairly invested script thanks to Whoopi's more colorful lines.

Ghost is an utterly engrossing ghost story. Yes, it is sappy, clichéd and predictable, but yet very enjoyable. It is well-acted, by Goldberg and, sirprisingly, by Swayze. I don't consider it a milestone of filmmaking, but it is really a sweet sweet movie that is very rewatchable. It has just the right doses of humor, romance and action.
I think Just like Heaven is still the better ghost love story, though.

Somewhat sweet and moving if you just picture and ignore Demi Moore being Moore and Whoopi Goldberg hamming it up. Its not really a bad movie but can be too sentimental at times

GHOST
I love this movie for the story, acting and it's comedy/drama elements. I like the depiction of hellish figures and the end scene when he's welcomed into heaven. I think Whoopi Goldberg really gels the film together with her comedy performance. Pat and Demi handle their roles well also. This movie always gets me crying at the end.

B/B+ Whoopi Goldberg is the greatest actress in modern civilization. ![Wub :wub2:](./images/smilies/wub.gif)

Whoopi is hilarious, but the whole thing is so silly and overwrought and ridiculous. Throughout the entire pottery scene I kept thinking, "that's really Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg caressing each other". Which is a truly bizarre image.

Ghost still works in 2011, even with the dated special effects and occasionally cheesy dialogue.
