The film was digitally released by Netflix in the United States and by Amazon Prime Video in the United Kingdom on June 25, 2021. It received mixed reviews from critics.

Jack Sparrow KJ's Leading Idiot Joined: Thu Dec 31, 2009 8:15 pm Posts: 36923	Re: The Ice Road The make-up is very cheap here for trapped civilians but it has great cast that sells of low budget graphics and cheap thrills which are surprisingly amateurish(I blame Jonathan Hensleigh's direction). The story and screenplay saves this from being a complete disaster. Neeson easily shines in this while Fishburne is wasted. Marcus Thomas plays a good supporting role in here. C+
