Hmm, Id expect more from Wes Craven, no wonder its the last film he ever wrote apart from New Nightmare.

The cast is allright, and its not particularly scary or that suspenseful. The Brother-Sister as a mom and dad are genuinely creepy though and the film itself does have an interesting atmosphere. I've seen much much worst, and a whole lot better. Just kinda drops in the middle.

B-/C+ range for me.

I love this movie. One of the best of Craven's.

Goonies meets haunted house type of horror meets crazy family killers type of horror. Sounds much better than it actually is.

It's too light and funny to be scary and some scenes are too weird to fit with the light and funny. There's a definitive disconnect in this movie throughout.

For me old Wes Craven movies were always good. After this I'm afraid that isn't true anymore.
