Re: Spectre
Please, Sad but true isn't a D. At Craig's worst he his films have been B\B+. This will never be on, of the Brosnan sequels or 5 of the Moore films. It's a good film technically made with enough errors to fall short from the rest. But it's still a good film overall.
To even think this is on par with a film like man with the golden gun or the world is not enough is just silly. Craig's films are above a franchise spectrum. No pun intended

Re: Spectre
And that is your right. But it's not an opinion. To even suggest that outside of maybe 3-5 older bond films, Craig's films on a strict filmmaking standard are just better movies overall (because let's be honest, the majority of Bond films are about fun, not quality). Spectre at its worse is a film with too much going on, and it's villain is lost. We don't have surfing, CGI parasailing, Ivan Drago impressions, Craig close to age 90, etc.

I wasn't implying that your taste was in any way wrong. There are plenty of the older films that I prefer to Spectre. To me it is a missed opportunity. But it's hardly a D film. I think of only 4-5 films mostly starring Moore that ever reach atrocious levels. For me I think the mood on here is just a A+ or F film for most people. I guess it's more exciting to read and go to the extremes.

Re: Spectre
This was better than Quantum of Solace but still wasn't a huge fan/ It was hard to follow and it was diffcult to care that Blofeld was in this. Beautiful to look at though. Sam Mendes is a great match with Bond.
