I was a sucker for these films back in the day.

1 was very good comedy, written by the "back in the day funny" Pat Proft. I liked the chemistry among the cast, and while it got old, I never got tired of the films, even after Gutenberg left.

4- B (I found 3 and 4 to be passible entertainment)
5- D+
6- C

5 and 6 they did the whole "lets try different surroundings" and the Mahoney replacement was silly. Though like said, I had a soft spot for these films. But 1 and 2 hold up well today.

Eh, it was decent. A lot of it is Very Dated, though surprisingly not any of the actual police parts. More for the 80s cool guy who is so cool he can grope women and stare at them in the shower and still wind up with the hottest one falling in love with him. Might as well have cast Chevy Chase.

The supporting cast is what makes the movie though. Sound effects guy made me laugh every time. Same with the big guy. And wimpy guys journey from bullied to John Wick had a fantastic payoff.

I’ll give it a C+, bordering on a B-
