Re: Solstice
Generic horror entry that isn't bad but, the same, is not very good either. The acting is decent but the plot is muddled. R. Lee Ermey though is fantastic as always playing the creepy guy.

Heh, I figured that if there's anyone else here besides myself who saw it, it'd be Joe.
My thoughts are rather similar too.

Re: Solstice
I rented this from BB a long while back because it had the a former seventh heaven guy in it and maybe the ice man from xmen. I can't remember. All I recall is that it was Boring and I didn't even finish the film.

Re: Solstice
C-
It was a blind buy...and I really really should have known it better, considering it's from one of the makers of The Blair Witch Project. A lot of setting up to a very disappointing and generic conclusion. The big twist was somewhat of a surprise, but one I just didn't care about. There are some suepenseful scenes and nice imegery, but hell, bascially nothing happens in the first hour of this 87 minutes film. NOTHING.
