 Re: Thanksgiving
Thought this was decent. Entertaining and kept me curious on who the killer was.

 Re: Thanksgiving
This started off really well. Alot of Final Destination vibes with the walmart riot scene (also makes it feel like a period piece in a way since that kind of black friday shopping went extinct after the pandemic.) The first kill scene with the dumpster is delightfully brutal.
Eli couldn't have made a worse choice for the killer reveal though. Sorry to be the guy who rewrites the movie, but you gotta complete the joke and go with either the storeowner or an employee and have them say something like "it was the only way I could get off for Thanksgiving." Just having it be a typical revenge spree is a dull. Though that is also pretty typical Eli Roth. He says he has something to say but then never says it lol.
Despite that rant, I would still say its worth watching for horror fans. And I'd watch a sequel. 6/10

 Re: Thanksgiving
I had fun with this. It's not a masterpiece but the kills are entertaining and it's especially fun if you're familiar with the original short film that played with Grindhouse 16 years ago - they do that justice. B

 Re: Thanksgiving
This was fun much better than a lot of tame slasher movies. Kills were inventive and the Walmart scene was great and shocking at the same time. Decent acting across the board
6/10. B
