Presales just started today and its not doing badly at all. Comparable to Furiosa last year. That had terrible finish to presales but this is not a sequel nor is the book that mainstream to have a big fan base. There is some curiosity around Bong Joon-Ho's 1st hollywood movie post Parasite and it has RPats. Still I am hopeful of it opening to at least 30m and reviews are also very good. 88% RT/75 Metacritic. Korea presales are also looking good and its opening a week earlier over there. |

Good to hear as the March release slate is dismal. Usually March is packed with blockbusters (often too many) but not this year. So if this can open solidly and have good legs it will do its bit to hold up the BO. |

I'm still saying this will flop. It looks so unappealing. If it does well it's solely down to starring Batman. |

These days movies have a lot of character interpolation that draws people in to watch them and this seems to be no exception. |
