Deadpool needs little more than a 3 multiplier to get to 650. Guess we'll see how it does next couple of weeks but that 2nd weekend # is really great. Both attempting top 10 domestic is pretty crazy. |

Deadpool is ahead but its lead is narrowing by the week. If it can stay above $30m in its fourth weekend then it's looking good |

I think IO2 will take it because Aug film competition is stronger than usual with Alien. IO2 will hopefully get a Labor Day weekend bump but a lot depends on it holding on to theaters. |

Definitely not worldwide, probably not domestic either. Deadpool would be too much of an expected yearly winner in the post-covid era. |

After calculating it out, Inside Out 2 is going to win. Deadpool is going to be barely over 600 after the Beetlejuice weekend. |

After this weekend hold, its unlikely for sure. It probably needs a big increase next weekend to keep it in play. 2 weeks later Beetlejuice 2 will suck the oxygen out of holdovers plus post Labor day/summer weekend holds will suck anyway. Still phenomenal run for a MCU movie for sure. 1.35B WW finish looks likely. |

If it can surpass Barbie, it would be one of the rare instances (like in 1994 with The Lion King and Forrest Gump) where two all-time box office grossing films from the same year appear right next to each other on the domestic list. |
