Early previews from Deadline: Longlegs - 2.5-3m Fly Me to the Moon - 800-900k |

The article says 10-15 Million for the weekend after 2.5-3 Million in previews. Come on! This is going 20+. The Black Phone did 3 in previews and opened to 23.6 Million. |

3m previews. Excellent #. Depending on how it holds it could beat Parasite to become Neon's biggest film. |

Need to see the weekend numbers for Longlegs Some romcom combos just don't feel right, and ScarJo/Tatum seems like one. |

Looks like Bad Boys will join KFP and GxK in the 190s. Since pandemic the only other film to finish in the 190s is Sonic 2. |

Tatum is fucking model, and acts like it. I've never understood his appeal. More wooden than my table. |

Deadline has an estimated 20-23 Million opening for Longlegs after an estimated 9-10 Million Friday. I hope it goes up even more. Ticket sales are fantastic for this evening. |

Charlie is saying 10m with previews. I think it will go up a bit from that. Fly me looks like utter disaster. It still has BO from early shows which were not reported yesterday but I am expecting overall friday including everything to be < 4m. |

So probably low 20s for Longlegs. Good for Neon. With a 10m budget this is a big success for them. Good drop for DM4. |

Impressive hold for DM4. It will match DM2’s second weekend approximately despite opening lower |

Great holds for nearly everything besides Maxxxine and Horizon. And of course fantastic for Longlegs. |

DM4 is only 18m behind the pace of 2. |

1, 3 and 4 should be relatively close after adjusted for inflation with 2 (488 million) as the outlier. |

It's crazy that only a week ago, $2M would have seemed more likely for Longlegs than $20M. Neon did an amazing job with last minute marketing, making it feel like a true must-see event for horror fans. This is gonna be one of those breakout performances that will slightly reshape the box office and our expectations of it. Everytime an indie horror starts to gain buzz we shall ask "is this the next Longlegs?" |

Honestly love both Neon and A24 managed 20m+ openings this year. Hopefully they can open a movie with like 40m+ somehow with a mid budget appealing film |
