Feels like this weekend emptied out cause the studios were expecting a Garfuriosa phenomenon. Instead, both movies are flopping/underperforming. I guess Garfield will be #1 with like $15M? Yay summer box office. |

Chris Pratt's first film not to make $340M+ since Onward in March 2020. Since 2014's Lego Movie, for wide releases, he'll have: 13 $250M+ (Lego, Mario, GOTG, JP and other MCUs) 3 $90M - 110M 1 < $90M Archival footage in Jem and the Holograms so not counting that. He's chosen his films very well that this will only be his 2nd possible film under $90M if it lands there out of 18 movies over 10 years. Should still pull a #1 next weekend though, if not this weekend. |

Would not be shocked by 70% from Furiosa. 20% Sat drop, MM fanbase and inflated Sunday. |

Furiosa is not falling 70% lol. It would have to have bad WOM. People who are seeing it are liking it fine. |
