Bill Hader is reportedly leading the cast of a new Cat In The Hat animated film scheduled for 2025.

I feel like this could be really big. The 2003 version with Mike Myers was a disaster so a CG animated one could break out.

I Feel $150M+ here is very doable.

It's definitely a good idea to make an animated version of this, like Garfield. I can see Bill Hader killing it in an animated voice role. For both movies though Illumination probably would've smashed the most with them.

The Mike Myers version was a terrifying fever dream. Animated is the way to go.

It's now official and set for March 6, 2026.

Cast includes Quinta Brunson (“Abbott Elementary”), Bowen Yang (“SNL”), Xochitl Gomez (“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”), Matt Berry (“What We Do in The Shadows”) and Paula Pell (“Girls5eva”) on top of Bill Harder.

March will be good for this. Off chance for $200M if its good.

$150m should be the floor.

I liked the 2003 version, but like the 2017 Grinch, an animated one makes more sense. It should clear $225m.
