https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/ ... led-comedy I normally pooh pooh reboots but i dunno - Liam Neeson doing comedy in the Leslie Neeson role could be interesting. With audiences perhaps wanting to see more comedies in theatres, Paramount could have a nostalgic comedy hit on their hands. Currently slotted in between Superman Legacy and Fantastic Four. Thoughts? |

I think this is a smart move on his part. He's been starring in Taken for 16 years now. Seth Macfarlane producing is promising. I expect a lot of celeb cameos, and memes from this. It's from the writer of the Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers movie which was surprisingly pretty good! Comedy counterprograming in summer is also much needed so will stand out. |

A Naked Gun remake on its own is probably a flop. Having Liam Neeson replace Leslie Neese is just such a brilliant idea that it will now be a success. It's a goofy joke for fans of the original while also a parody of what Liam has become. |
