Freddys presales have been spectacular. All signs point to low double digits or low teens previews and Friday presales have been even more spectacular. I could see this hit high 30s or even 40m Friday. Saturday will drop from true friday but it will have a big OW. I would go for 75m for now.

I hope Flower Moon has a great hold. OW seems softer than what I expected. I want it to gross > 100m.

Idk if I'm buying over 60m for FNAF. If it does that's crazy and they'll probably stupidly do more day and date releases but I think this will open big just because of the brand.

Will be interesting to see how Taylor holds this weekend since 1989 TV releases.

Freddy making 60-70 mil OW would be bewildering to me. It would have been a great shocker in pre tracking era.

$23M

Keyzer Soze and all the presale people are lying to us so they can buy shorts on FNAF and make a bundle when it underperforms. Two years from now we will get a film about it called Dumb Box Office.

Presale data takes all the fun out of predicting opening weekend box office. Your prediction basically has to be with 10% of whatever keyser says, lol.

I think After Death will track in the mid-7 digits at least.

boxoffice.com bumped up their weekend prediction to 65-85m range. It was at 40-60 few weeks ago.

More than previews, friday sales are super strong. But its looking at a big drop on saturday. For now I am sticking with 75m OW.

The reviews are gonna be awful when they come in on Friday (hopefully it is fun bad like Sharknado and not just ugly bad like Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.) No matter how high it opens, I bet the week 2 drop will be in the 75-80% range.

Good number. Will be one of the biggest horror movies but not a completely random $100M+ opener that we'd all be grasping at straws to explain.
