Ugh, what was supposed to be a slam dunk to top last year's total by this weekend DIDN'T happen.
2023 $7,332,150,357 2022 $7,369,357,270
Just $37.21M away from doing that but with Taylor not playing during the week and maybe $3-5M total across the M-Th dailies this week could be still $20M down. All but certain to happen on Friday though with Eras weekend 2 and Moon.
Exorswift could have been a thing to build buzz for both movies. Movies this weekend held fairly well for having a $90M+ movie open.

PAW Patrol isn't getting anywhere near $100m at this rate. Even $80m looks unlikely.

Exorcist showing better legs then expected and Paw Patrol showing worse was not on my fall bingo card.
Haunting is also holding well. Saw X could also end up pulling $60M from a $18M weekend.
