If Greek Wedding 3 misses 10m, its going to be 3rd biggest opener next weekend considering the bollywood flick Jawan looks like opening > Pathan earlier this year. Nun 2 I am seeing M3gan numbers. |

They really screwed up with The Nun being complete and utter garbage. I don't know anyone that liked it. Apparently the sequel is an Anabelle: Creation level improvement. But, despite a great release date, I don't know how many will be itching to give this series another shot. I do still think it will do well though. Positive WOM might help the weekend multiplier. I wonder when the embargo lifts? If reviews are going to be good they should consider releasing them early enough in the week. |

The Nun II trailer gets a pretty good reaction every time I see it in the theater, especially when I saw Blue Beetle in IMAX on National Cinema Day. Even though the first one had a terrible reception I think enough time has passed that most people will just be down for another creepy movie in the world of The Conjuring. I'm guessing a $35-40M opening? |
