TSLA has been approved to build a drive-in movie theater with all-night diner in West Hollywood. It's going to be 1950s themed and play classic movies and have charging stations. Any thoughts here if the model does well that TSLA would be a bigger player in the movie industry? They have a lot of space for charging stations so feels like a partnership with the theater chains could eventually happen. Implications in the near term would be expansion of this drive-in business model into various other areas and the potential revival of drive-in theaters. Another would be expansion into a broader range of activities and services centered around Tesla charging stations, ultimately transforming them into entertainment hubs while customers wait for their vehicles to charge. |
