If October's box office contest is only predicting Amsterdam, O and Shack are sitting pretty right now provided that Deadline's prediction of Amsterdam earning less than $8 million this weekend comes true. As potentially the most popular movie this month, Black Adam is likely to separate the contenders from the pretenders. |

I'm in the same boat. Obviously I overpredicted both, but I feel my Lyle prediction will be vindicated when it shows legs. So in the spirit of a film that eventually performs well, the prediction isn't too bad. But Amsterdam is just going to fall off a cliff after its first week. Awful prediction of double what it will open with, lol. |
