I saw an article earlier today about the rise of horror from the WSJ with lots of interesting insights:

Makes me think that Blade could be MCU's comeback movie. The superhero + horror elements are promising since horror is doing so well right now. Where I personally am getting bored most of Marvel's latest movies are their comedic elements feel like they are using the same techniques of early stage movies and falling flat.

Jonathan Majors has now been charged with assault and harassment. I wonder how this changes his career. In this day-and-age is he instantly persona non-grata or will this blow over?

Not shocked at all. As soon as I saw him pop up on the Oscars (first time I'd ever seen him) I thought this guy gives me a bad vibe, especially contrasted against Michael B Jordan who has always seemed like a very upstanding, perfect squeaky clean Hollywood leading man kind of vibe. There was just something in Majors' demeanour and eyes. I can feel these things.

Hope they actually throw him in prison so he doesn't end up murdering his girlfriend.

Majors, AntMan disappointment, Disney layoffs, and the Victoria Alonso lawsuit. Not a great month for Marvel/Disney. Guardians needs to meet or exceed expectations or there's going to be a lot more change coming to Marvel.

WB may be slightly ok with the fact that MCU is dominating headlines that maybe the Shazam flop isn't have nearly as bad of an impact.

They need to get rid of Payton Reed. The best part of the Marvel series has been getting new directors and take the series further and Reed (Best known for Bring it on) really has no nack for bigger storytelling (I think it's crazy of all the series he's stayed for the whole trilogy)

Jon Watts and James Gunn also stayed for their whole trilogies.

This won’t go to Disney plus at least till Mid May. Disney is doing a pvod window just like for Avatar.

So, all-in-all a bit of a flop despite its $214m gross. It looks large as a number, but when you consider it won't reach its predecessor, things aren't good for this character. The audience limit has been reached. It hasn't even out-grossed X2: X-Men United yet, and that came out 20 years ago!
