It's 86% of Scream's Thursday previews. $10M true Friday is not impossible. Even if it misses it, at least it will easily open over $20M OW.

I don't see why Black Phone wouldn't be way more backloaded being an original with great WOM as opposed to a franchise film with decent WOM

Elvis- 3.5m

Just a hair under Uncharted. Seems like 35-40m still in play, though it will probably open below the Great Gatsby

Excellent. Would be cool if this ends up being a 100m grosser.

Very good for BP and solid for Elvis. We're looking good for 5 $20M+ movies, all of which are pulling a wide range of audiences. Feel like the market could have supported a comedy movie as well so it's very healthy box office!

Strong numbers for both. Box office is booming nicely isn’t it. With the fewer releases but a better strike rate - feels like mid/late 90s box office.

$5m Thursday for TGM
$4.8m for JWD
$3.8m for LY

It's not an exact science but I've extracted Aladdin's 2018 last non-holiday June Thursday/weekend to extrapolate LY's weekend based on that ratio to $20.58M (-59.3%)/$91.7M total

There's a lot up in the air this weekend on rankings but the only thing I'm feeling more comfortable on is that LY is falling off a cliff. With Minions the next weekend will this fail to get to $150M and a 3 multiplier? Looking like a good chance.

There's a 99.99% chance it will fall below $150m total even if Minions opens worse than LY due to losing any PLF and IMAX screens it has left.

Very nice. I think Black Phone will have pretty decent word of mouth too. Hopefully it hits $30M but just getting over $20M, which seems certain, is a huge win.

Elvis has an $85 million budget. Ouch. How on earth is it going to reach $170 million? I don't see it making much overseas.

The Black Phone is pulling in similar numbers domestically with a budget a fifth of Elvis'.

Don't lose hope just yet. Go to Box Office Theory. UK, Australia, and Italy are doing well.
