Go EEAAO! Also, Lost City only drops 12% despite it's still available on P+? Yay! DA2, which couldn't even get to #1 even with previews included, is unfortunate.

Men is gonna probably not pass $8m. Meanwhile EE is still going strong, it'll probably be playing for awhile.

Lost City will easily pass $100m, good.

I'm very curious if DA2 is as front-loaded as the first over the weekend. Hopefully not.

EEAAO could play into the summer. I hope it keeps up these holds.

Fantastic Beasts may be a little less than $93M this weekend. Can possibly get to $96M without a push.

So $100M isn't impossible still if WB does an aggressive push but funny to see its slow crawl.

Sonic and Everything could get a big push from the long weekend. Everything looks like it has a fair shot at $65M+ now so if a larger audience discovers it over the long weekend could give it a whole other push.

Me @ Warner Bros after Fantastic Beasts is failing to reach $100m:

Doctor Strange won't hit a billion. Wow wasn't expecting that with its opening.

I think even when the movie of the show does well, the sequel usually doesn't. Probably especially with this one. How many times can Carson come out of retirement? Brett Favre of Gentlemen's gentlemen.

2nd tv sequels always drop, anything over 50% retention is a win, plus the syndication rights.

What is the next test for senior citizens going to the movies? Elvis? Some will see Top Gun of course but I don't see it quite as old skewing as something like DA2. I don't think there's anything major coming that is THAT slanted towards that demographic.
