Re: Aladdin 2 Predictions The fact that Disney announced Guy Ritchie will direct Hercules for them makes me think this was put on the backburner to see how Smith plays out over the next few years.
The live action Aladdin was surprisingly much better than I was expecting so a shame not to get a sequel sooner but understandable!

Re: Aladdin 2 Predictions Aladdin 2 was kind of unnecessary anyways. And sequels to these CGI remakes are unproven at this point. I think knocking out the ones like Hercules and Hunchback is the right call and at some point maybe even live action remakes of Pixar movies which I'm not sure they can resist. I'd start with Wall-E or Up! and then if it's a success then get to Toy Storys and Finding Nemos like they did the Lion King. Or they could go straight to the Incredibles and cash in on superhero popuarlity. You could also make a live action Incredibles and just come up with a new story.
