 Predict The Batman's domestic total
OW ended up being $134m
Will be on HBO Max next month so that may cut legs short... that said, Saturday and Sunday #s seem to indicate it'll have some staying power, and it has 2 more weekend to itself.
I'm gonna go with a 2.8 multiplier, $375m total.

Re: Predict The Batman's domestic total
I think the opening is big enough, and legs will be good enough for 400m. I'd even go on a limb and say 425m.

Re: Predict The Batman's domestic total
I think over 3x multiplier will be tough, Shang-Chi in a dead marketplace as well barely missed it.

Re: Predict The Batman's domestic total
If it performs like most films legs wise, where OW is 40% of total, that puts it at 320, even it manages 35% which is best case, which I doubt as GA are not exactly loving it, it tops out at 380.
At this point I don't think it'll pass Joker's 335 million.

Joker seems like a good legs comparison to me. It seems like WOM is really good. And its spurring watercooler conversation in a way Shang Chi never did.

Re: Predict The Batman's domestic total
Joker legs get this to $467m... which would be crazy. I guess let's see how 2nd weekend is. If it ends up dropping 50% I'll believe in great legs.

Re: Predict The Batman's domestic total
Would probably be at $350M otherwise but moviegoers are so starved for movie releases will probably do $415M as a rough estimate.

I'm gonna go with a 2.8 multiplier, $375m total. WB movies are guaranteed a 45 day theatrical window, so it still won't be until at least April 19, by which point it will have probably already been hit by Morbius, Sonic, and Fantastic Beasts 2, so by then I don't think its multiplier will be too affected by it. But 2.8 multiplier sounds about right anyway.

Over $350M.
Also, Nirvana's "Something in the Way" is currently #4 on Spotify (it is featured prominently in the film). Cultural impact? Check!

April 19th - HBO Max.
I think it can hit $400M by then, though I wish they hadn't announced it so far in advance.
