1 Jackass $23.5 M 2 Moonfall $10M 3 Spiderman $9.6 M -13% $748.95M total 4 Scream $4.7M -35% $69M total 5 Sing 2 $4.2M -12.5% $139.6M total Wouldn't be shocked if Canada was a big contributor to Spidy/Scream this weekend. This is the first weekend theaters are open there after a shutdown in Ontario/Quebec. Though it would have been great to see Jackass do more that's a solid number still for a low budget movie 2 decades in with its predecessor opening 9 years ago. Moonfall cratered. Spidy needs a 6.3 multiplier to get to $800M. Not likely but not impossible either. Scream's doing solid. Looks good for $80M+. Sing could get to $160M! |

King's Man going above Matrix and WSS eventually is LOl wtf They should make a third entry with a low budget and call it a day. Spider-Man's drop is insane. |

West Side Story could end up with more after an Oscar bump. The Worst Person in the World had a great start in 4 theaters this weekend. Licorice Pizza should be at 13 Million by next weekend. Will be interesting to see where it ends up after Oscar nominations and a wider expansion. |

Love these mega holds for Spidey and Scream and Sing. Jackass good as expected. Moonfall crappy but probably about right (I was expecting mid to high teens but in hindsight not realistic) |

Bodes well for the next couple of weeks. Spidey - was hoping it would pass Avatar's $760m but now it looks like it can distance itself a little - perhaps by $20m or so. Great news considering they'll probably re-release Avatar (again!) so a bit of buffer is needed. |

They really should've sold Moonfall to Netflix or Apple TV (the latter appear to be willing to buy literally anything, like how Billie Eilish scammed them for $25 MILLION for her documentary). |

I was actually hoping for more of an a historic bomb for Moonfall. But 10 mil is still pretty bad. |

$25M for a Billie Eilish docu? What?? Even $2.5M is pretty steep. |

Streamers always overspend on movies. |

Yep: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ ... y-1259738/ I guess Apple TV thought it was the best way to get younger subscribers. The numbers were not very impressive in the end IIRC. She basically ended up making what she would've made from her cancelled tour due to COVID. She has the best managers in the industry. |
