In February, three films are expected to pass $1B from China ($400M is a locked figure for them) 1) Only Fools Rush In 2) Nice View 3) Water Gate Bridge (Sequel to All-time highest grossing film in China) I think we will be getting $1.3-1.5B, or may be $2B in Spring Festival for all the TOP 10 works. |

Nice View has a nice chance of reaching $1B with WOM. But, Water Gate Bridge is an National Film about Chinese History. So I think both of them can pass if audience distribution is maintained. However, CNY always have a twist because here works grow with WOM not big-big OW like last year Hi Mom over DC3 (OW difference : below $190M vs $400M, but finals at $841M &$705M) I doubt which one will fall this year. May be Water Gate Bridge but I doubt Only Fools Rush in be the victim. |

I voted for The Batman, Doctor Strange 2, Jurassic World 3, Black Panther 2, Avatar 2, Aquaman 2 I can see Aquaman moving to 2023. |

Paramount hasn't seen a movie do $800M+ worldwide in 8 years so luckily the bar is really low for them! |

on second thoughts I wont rule it out for Top Gun. Already some incredible numbers from few international markets and it will be leggy in many markets for sure. I also see 500m+ domestic and so it needs to match that to make it happen. Wont be easy but its definitely in play. Let us see in couple of weeks. |

1B WW for TGM is locked. Both domestic and OS holds have been stellar. Next up is JWD. I am skeptical as movies will have mediocre reviews/WOM plus its releasing just 2 weeks after the insanity of TGM. I rather think Thor 4 will do it if Taika manages to keep the quality close to Thor 3. |
