Not in. I believe it has a strong shot at reaching 200 Million. Though this club should be void if theaters shut down :P.

Oh I will not claim club of theaters close. If there are minor restrictions then the club is still in play.

Is this the most passive aggressive club ever created?

Approximately 64% drop from the originals and next Friday isn't going to help it too much.

It's at 44% drop now from the original as of 31st but by day 10 Sing 2 has already gotten it's worse weekend day so let's wait for the entire weekend. I don't think it will magically recover at this stage to get above 40% drop but anyways.....

Just because Morbius moved this won't get magical legs. Two different movies with total different target audience.

Well... just saw a commercial saying it's going to streaming (Peacock, I think) this Friday. Did it have a 3-week theatrical window, or is this a recent announcement?

I only saw it on a TV commercial, but I'll share it if I come across it online. I'm assuming it was a recent decision though, otherwise someone here would have shared the news (maybe).

It was "[blah blah best family movie ever message] you can still see it in theaters, or at home this Friday." Could have swore I saw the Paramount+ logo though, but Illumination is Peacock, right?

You’d think something like that would be easily googled.

Here we go. Pretty dumb decision. Must just be to satisfy panicking shareholders, I guess, because it's still doing well at the box-office.

It sounds like PVOD, so at least it’s not free.

I think there was something at universal where it gets a 17 day theatrical window if it opens below 50m and 31 if it opens above (ie F9 and No Time to Die)

So now it's definitely not getting to 200 Million. Stupid move. Another FU to theaters. Spider-Man and this were the only things bringing in any real business.
