As expected it cannot be compared to TFA regardless of WoM. MCU movies have become more frontloaded recently. If say that's a great number if you don't compare to TFA. These numbers would have been unrealistic before this opening so I'd say it's time to adjust expectations, it's still a pandemic era. I know many movie would kill to have that number as their OW much less 5th day in their run these days.

Unfortunately, XMas and New Years falling on weekends is going to hurt Spidey's potential legs. The weekend #s / drops should be better, but the weekday #s won't be quite as inflated as they could be.

Add in some Omicron, and unfortunately Spidey doesn't have a shot at the all time title. With that said. I still think it has a 50/50 chance of getting to 800. This weekend will be very telling.

I think at least beating Black Panther is happening at least, which is incredible still. Will be annoying discourse talking about disappointing legs if it falls short of Infinity War but this is an unprecedented time.

The King's Man - 800k

... flop. Too bad it couldn't get premium screens.

I wouldnt expect Spidey to have the same legs as TFA. Anything over $600m is spectacular. Still think it will go over $750m unless theatres close en masse
