100% at RT with 8.1 avg. rating. Even though it seems the consensus is the multiverse stuff is less interesting than the first third of the movie dealing with the fallout from FFH, it’s still among the best rated MCU films.

WOW at the reviews. Now sky is the limit for this. Probably will take out SW7 OW at this rate.

So The Daily Beast seems to confirm the rumors from a Chinese source about the plot points of Spider-Man: No Way Home. I don't know why Andrew Garfield didn't simply say "No comment" or "I don't want to spoil the movie for fans" when asked if he was in the movie. It appears that Andrew Garfield didn't learn from JJ Abrams when he lied about Khan not being in Star Trek Into Darkness.

The movie after this one if they have Maguire and Garfield in major roles in the marketing would be huge

Re: Spider-Man: No Way Home opening weekend
My heart It never dawned on me that we never got proper conclusions to the Garfield/Maguire movies. This is so cool and I'm so excited now. I'm indifferent to the Holland movies (though I really dug the second) but I LOVED Garfield and Maguire's turns. I feel like the marketing campaign will be adjusted after Friday to be honest. If there's anything regarding the Peter/Gwen relationship from Garfield's films I'll probably cry. I'm not even pretending those movies are the best but their chemistry was through the roof and I sobbed when she died after seeing the second movie theatrically.

Re: Spider-Man: No Way Home opening weekend
This is epic for a Spidey film yet still feels grounded. It’s a crowd pleaser so it should comfortably do $400m+

Re: Spider-Man: No Way Home opening weekend
This movie is awesome and they are going to make a damn fortune with thing. Marvel has changed cinema AGAIN.
Holland, Zendaya and the guy who plays Ned are such a good trio. I can't believe how relatable the films have made them. So so good.

Re: Spider-Man: No Way Home opening weekend
Based on AMC data, looking like 52m previews. Should be good for 230m+ at this point. Let us see how things go tomorrow.

Re: Spider-Man: No Way Home opening weekend
I'm thinking there's a chance Friday/previews could be bigger than Sat/Sun. I'm seeing a whole much of omnicron restrictions coming in fast this weekend and capacity limits. Would not be shocked by a larger than expected 2nd weekend drop as well even with the holiday cushion. Will be an interesting and possibly strange run to watch but hope theaters stay open long enough. Major movie centers like Toronto and NYC feel like they are on the cusp of a shutdown or some sort though.

Yeah it was kinda lackluster batch of trailers, thought we'd at least get Batman and Fantastic Beasts

Especially movie theaters. I'll be very very disappointed if Scream gets pushed back. Also hoping for a full theatrical release and not some dumb simultaneous Paramount+ premiere. But I really feel one of these things will happen.
