Re: Friday Estimates
Eternals looks like high $60s to me based on WOM and audience ratings.
This all just makes Venom 2 all the more extraordinary on how incredible it did!

Re: Friday Estimates
Indeed Venom 2 was insane. Great for Eternals.

Re: Friday Estimates
Eternals really crashed after an explosive PS start. We had articles talking about biggest PS seller in pandemic era. I think Disney is diluting the brand with too much content with 3 movie releases in 4 months and umpteen D+ content as well. At least next year they are not looking at 4 movies !!!
Just raw BO is still ok. I think it finishes below F9 based on audience ratings seen so far.

Re: Friday Estimates
Pretty decent all things considered - $75M is the number to beat. Dunno how many people were boycotting it for having gay characters, but it must have been similiar to the amount of people who boycotted Shang Chi for having asian characters, and Black Widow for having arachnid characters.

Cinemascores:
Venom: Let there be Carnage B+ The Eternals B
So the opening weekend movie fans like Venom more than The Eternals. My prediction of an opening weekend of $76 million was too optimistic. The opening weekend will be less than $74 million.

Re: Friday Estimates
Last Night In Soho dropping 70% from last Friday... ouch
Look at Venom dropping less than 30%. Wtf
Eternals may miss 70m with that #.

Will Halloween Kills be the highest OW to not hit $100m?

Re: Friday Estimates
Thinking 71m max. Walkups are worse than SC. Saturday should be in 24-25m range. Lower end could mean it barely hits 70m with estimates and dropping with actuals. Let us see how things go. WOM seems among the worst of MCU.
